The Spring Fishing Classic starts February 15th thru March 3. Customers that donate used rod and reels (in working order) can receive trade- in savings up to $200 on a new rod and reel. All used equipment will be donated to a local youth nonprofit organization.

“Enhancing Your Life with Hearing Assistive Technology” is a description of the many assistive devices, other than hearing aids, that may enhance communication and safety of people with hearing loss. They are tools that make understanding better. They are devices that protect us.
The presentation will be focused more towards the “hard of hearing” and last about 45 minutes in length. A Q&A session will take place after the Presentation.
Speaker Bio: Ed Schickel is a former Chemical Dependency Therapist who has been a member of Hearing Loss Association of America since 2001. He uses a hearing aid and a cochlear implant to assist his communication. Ed received training in a HAT program sponsored by HLAA and Gallaudet University, and through the many National HLAA conventions he has attended. As a member of HLAA, Ed is a former HLAA Co-State Chapter Coordinator, past president of HLAA Kentuckiana and a founding member of HLAA KY Home. Currently, he is the editor of www.hearinglosskentucky.org.
This color walk/run will begin and end at McNeill Elementary and features an easy 1.3 mile course. During the race, participants are doused with color at various color stations. This is a family friendly event and open to the entire community. Join us for some colorful fun!
