Yin Yoga in the Salt Cave! @ Be Happy Yoga & Salt Cave

Receive the full benefits of a salt cave session and a yoga class in one! Yin Yoga is a slower paced style of yoga in which the poses are held for a longer period of time in order to achieve a deeper stretch of the connective tissue, bones and joints. Helps to calm the mind and nervous system while maintaining emphasis on the breath and an inward focus. Through yoga, breathing is enhanced and therefor the benefits of the salt cave are enhanced. Must register for this class by 10am that day!

This course is designed to meet the specific needs of older drivers. Upon completion participants could receive a multi-year discount on their car insurance. Pre-registration is required.
Cost of the program is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Checks are payable to AARP on class day.

Bowling Green Gallery Hop will happen again Friday, May 31, 2019. Bowling Green galleries, independent studios, and museums will open their doors on May 31, to showcase our vibrant arts community. Our venues are open from 5 – 8 pm. All venues are free and open to the public and offer open house hospitality. Shake Ride and Roll Charity Bike Ride @ South Union Shaker Village

Join the Bowling Green League of Bicyclists and the South Union Shaker Village for the annual Shake Ride and Roll charity bike ride. Bikers will gather at the South Union Shaker Village (850 Shaker Museum Road, Auburn, KY ) on Saturday, June 1 at 8 am to ride the rolling hills of south central Kentucky. There will be 10, 28, and 50 mile loops. Registration is $15 for BGLOB and SUSV members, $25 for the general public. The rides are SAG supported.
