All Paris Saint-Germain can win this season is the French league title after being knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich. It was PSG’s fifth elimination from the last 16 in seven years. France striker Kylian Mbappé says this is the maximum PSG can achieve with its current means. PSG has been a dominant force in France since cash-rich Qatari investors took over in 2011 but the team has consistently failed to replicate that success on the European stage despite spending massive amounts on star players. Mbappé says “we’re going to ask ourselves the tough questions.”
