Padres owner Peter Seidler had a medical procedure and won’t be at the ballpark again this season

SAN DIEGO (AP) — San Diego Padres owner Peter Seidler underwent an unspecified medical procedure last month and is “on the road to recovery” according to a statement posted on the team’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter. Seidler is a two-time cancer survivor. The team said it couldn’t provide further details at the family’s request. Seidler says he can’t be at the ballpark for the remaining games this season but is watching them all.
