Kentucky reports 745 new coronavirus cases, 9 new deaths

LOUISVILLE, Ky (AP) — Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has reported 745 new coronavirus cases across Kentucky and nine more deaths. The state’s positivity rate has fallen below 4%. The rate is a rolling figure reflecting the average number of tests coming back positive for COVID-19. The Democratic governor also announced Tuesday that the curfew for bars and restaurants has been extended to midnight, with last call at 11 p.m. This is an hour later than previous guidance.
