GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — John Force will begin his 47th season in NHRA at Gatornationals. He signed a three-year contract extension with Chevrolet and his primary sponsor, Peak, in December. The 16-time Funny Car champion also made it clear he’s not thinking about retirement. He’s 73 and says “how far can you go?” He also says he wants to help the sport grow. His last title came in 2013, and he hasn’t finished better than fourth over the last eight years.
