Boeheim bids Syracuse farewell at Autry’s introduction

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse has formally introduced new men’s basketball coach Adrian Autry on campus. Jim Boeheim was in attendance and gave a goodbye speech. Boeheim says he will have a yet-undefined role with the school moving forward. He also thanked his players, school officials and fans. Autry says that he is committed to upholding the standards Boeheim set and still has decisions about his coaching staff to make. Boeheim also says that there was a plan in place but that he and the administration didn’t meet until a day after his final game, a loss in the ACC Tournament.
