Housing Authority of Bowling Green makes a big announcement
A big announcement was made today, concerning the Housing Authority of Bowling Green.
The Housing Authority of Bowling Green was selected in the first round of Envision Center Designation Communities. Envision Centers offer housing and urban development assisted families, access to support services that can help them achieve self-sufficiency. Today the Housing Authority revealed the Envision Center logo on the front entrance of their administration building.
The Housing Authority of Bowling Green is one of only 17 locations in the U.S. Chosen for the opportunity. The public housing director for the Louisville office of housing and urban development was at today’s press conference, and she credits the Housing Authority of Bowling Green’s success on its staff and community outreach efforts.
The Housing Authority of Bowling Green also offers a variety of programs to over 1,400 residents in 598 public housing units.
