Guthrie, Kentucky Police Chief loses battle to cancer
The city of Guthrie’s police chief has died. According to the Guthrie Police Department, Chief Matthew Humble lost his battle with cancer.
He died Wednesday inside of his home.
A post on the Guthrie Police Department Facebook page reads:
"He will be forever missed and loved in our great community. Rest in peace, Chief. We will take it from here, brother."
Humble was a Logan County native.
Humble’s funeral will take place this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Grove Parkside Church in Russellville.
