Fresh RX for Moms helps improve dietary habits for pregnant women
The Community Farmers Market in Bowling Green is working to help mothers-to-be insert more fruits and vegetables into their diet. The program is called Fresh RX for Moms.
The program is designed to help mothers-to-be currently living on Medicaid to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.
The application deadline is July 7th, and the program is limited to 30 participants.
Those selected will receive $20 in market tokens starting on July 7th, through November 24th, a total of $420 in value.
