Fire breaks out at Kentucky Arts Center in Louisville

A fire broke out at the Kentucky Arts Center in Louisville this afternoon.

Construction workers were working on the metal rooftop when light smoke started to billow.

The fire was declared a 3-alarm fire, and 65 firefighters were stationed outside the building. The Arts Center has been evacuated and officials are looking into the extent of the damage.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire along with the possibility of arson as standard procedure.
