Famous I-65 goat injured in traffic accident

"Houdini," a goat that is often seen by motorists along I-65 in Hardin County, was injured over the weekend after a traffic accident.

The incident happened sometime Sunday.

It took animal control officers several hours to capture the goat.

"Houdini" was taken to the Hardin County Animal Shelter where he’s undergoing treatment.

According to shelter staff, "Houdini" will be adopted out once he recovers.

Through a Facebook post, Kentucky Down Under in Hart County is hoping to adopt the goat so it can live out the rest of its life with the attraction’s other animals, including goats.
