Bowling Green teen arrested for Huck’s gas station robbery
A Bowling Green teen wanted in connection to armed convenience store robbery has been arrested.
According to an arrest citation, 18-year-old Jimmy Morris was operating a stolen scooter when police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Friday near East 13th Avenue.
He is accused of leading police on a foot pursuit and possessing marijuana and Xanax.
Police arrested and charged Morris in relation to that incident as well as served an indictment warrant for first-degree robbery. He and 19-year-old Terrell Smith are both accused of entering a Hucks gas station on New Bond Way in January, one armed with a rifle, and both fleeing the scene with the cash register in hand.
Morris is currently being held on a bond totalling over 50-thousand-dollars.
