Bicyclist killed in Franklin crash
FRANKLIN, Ky.- A bicyclist was killed Saturday morning in Franklin.
According to Kentucky State Police, the collision occurred near 2200 Moody Road.
Police said Donald Davis, 64, of Morgantown was riding westbound on Moody Road when he was struck by Raymond Mann, 79, of Franklin.
Police said Mann was driving a pick-up truck with an attached trailer hauling agricultural equipment.
Police said Davis attempted to move to the shoulder of the road when he lost control of his bicycle, causing him to fall on to the roadway. Davis was then struck by the trailer portion of Mann’s vehicle.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
