BGPD searching for man wanted for assault

Bowling Green police are asking for your help locating a man wanted on an assault warrant.

Police are searching for Cornelius “Neal” Fugate.

Police say he’s wanted for an assault that took place August 30 on Clay Street.

Fugate is listed on the Kentucky Sex Offenders Registry for rape, sodomy and incest convictions involving a minor.

According to a related arrest report for a woman police say was harboring Fugate in her residence, witnesses told police the other man involved in the altercation is now paralyzed as a result.
