Each weekday on SOKY Sunrise, WNKY 40 News will feature classrooms from across South Central Kentucky reciting The Pledge of Allegiance! The Daily Pledge will air at approximately 6:55am every Monday-Friday on WNKY NBC 40.

Teachers can submit a video (s) of their classrooms(s) reciting the Pledge of Allegiance via the submission form below.

Video Filming Instructions

1. Please make sure to film the video horizontally-oriented.
2. Ensure that the room you will be filming in is quiet.
3. Before performing The Pledge of Allegiance, please identify the teacher’s name and grade of the classroom appearing in the video.
4. Give a countdown from five before cueing the classroom to perform The Pledge.
5. Wait three seconds after the completion of The Pledge and hold your video position before stopping the video.
6. Upload your Daily Pledge video to YouTube and set the video to “UNLISTED” or upload your video to a file sharing service with sharing features enabled (Options: Google Drive, WeTransfer). The video/video download link will be required to fill out the form below.

Submit your video by filling out the form below and providing your video link/download link. You will be contacted one week before the broadcast of your classroom’s performance. The performance will also be hosted on this page (WNKY.com/Pledge) and will be available for on-demand viewing.
