A man from Georgia is behind bars in Barren County, accused of having multiple drugs inside the vehicle he was riding in.
On Thursday morning, Glasgow Police pulled over a vehicle on Happy Valley Road for a license plate that was not illuminated.
Officers say they could detect an odor of marijuana coming from the car. Police say the passenger, Gregory Parker, 55, fled from the scene when asked to exit the car, but was later apprehended.
Inside the vehicle, officers say they located 34 ecstasy pills, 3 individually wrapped bags of suspected heroin, 7 small bags of suspected methamphetamine, 3 large bags of suspected methamphetamine, and gabapentin.
Parker was arrested on a number of drug charges and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
It's unclear what charges if any, the driver of the vehicle is facing.
