Two people, accused of burglarizing a barn, arrested in Logan County

Two people were arrested in Logan County, on Monday, accused of burglarizing a barn. 

Logan County Deputies say "they received a call of a suspicious vehicle near a barn on Morgantown road. upon arriving, Deputies say they observed a U-Haul truck with its lights still on, and 34-year-old Travis Johnson with several items in his hands, which he dropped once their spotlight caught his eye.

The arrest report states, that Johnson and 39-year-old Rita Rowland said they were on the way to Russellville when they got lost, but later admitted to burglarizing the barn and placing the items inside the U-Haul.

Deputies say, one of the subjects also dropped a small baggie at some point, holding a variety of pills and a white powdery substance.

The two were lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on a handful of charges.
