A Bowling Green woman is accused of assaulting her 91-year-old mother.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office was called Wednesday to a conduct a welfare check at 255 Maplemere Drive.
When the investigating deputy arrived, he saw 91-year-old Lucille Lindsey in crying in pain. The deputy called for an ambulance.
Deputies charged Lindsey’s daughter, Gerri Carnes, 57, of Bowling Green with wanton abuse or neglect of an adult, according to Grimes’ arrest citation.
Carnes initially told deputies that her mother fell a couple of days ago and refused medical treatment, according to her citation. Lindsey told deputies that she and her daughter argued, she tried to leave to get help and Carnes pushed her causing her to fall back onto a television on the floor.
Lindsey is currently being treated for a broken rib and punctured lung, according to the citation.
