Bowling Green woman accused of burglarizing vehicle in homeowner's garage is arrested

Bowling Green Police have arrested a woman they say broke into a homeowner's garage and stole a gun out of the owner's vehicle.

Lindsey Levisay, 42, is charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking of a firearm and numerous drug offenses

According to her arrest citation, Levisay is accused of breaking into a garage on Bennington Park Drive on September 4, and stealing a firearm from an unlocked vehicle.

Police say they later identified her through surveillance video at the victim's home.

On Tuesday, police responded to a suspicious person complaint on State Street. The subject was Levisay. When officers were speaking with her, they say they discovered suspected methamphetamine in her purse, along with several pills, in addition to marijuana and straws to snort pills with in her vehicle.

Levisay was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
