The toddler's mother 36-year-old Cynthia Orr told officers she works full time while her fiance 38-year-old Brad Gerke watches her two children.

Orr told officers she had suspected Gerke had been abusing her daughter since August. The report states Gerke told police the child suffered injuries from running into the dresser and playing with her brother.
