After 27 years with the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the organization's executive director has announced her retirement.
Vicki Fitch will be stepping down on December 1.
Fitch made the announcement Tuesday at the Convention and Visitors Bureau monthly board meeting.
Fitch served as the organization's Executive Director for 13 years after spending 14 years as Marketing Director.
Under her leadership, the CVB earned the Kentucky Economic Engine Award from the Kentucky Travel Industry Association in March 2018. The award recognized tourism's positive impact in Bowling Green and Warren County.
The board is immediately organizing a search process to find a replacement.
