Fire crews have continued to battle the massive holy fire in Southern California overnight, despite day long drops by more than a dozen firefighting aircraft's.
US Forest Service Rangers said that the goal was to keep the flame front from rolling downhill towards communities bordering the federal land. The holy fire first sparked Monday afternoon, and ballooned from 75 acres to 700 within an hour.
Two firefighters suffered heat related injuries and were treated at a hospital.
There were also reports of several unoccupied structures damaged within the forest.
