Kentucky to Require Public Schools to Teach About the Holocaust

Kentucky -

It will likely become mandatory for public school teachers in Kentucky to teach their students about the Holocaust.

The Kentucky Senate voted unanimously in favor of the Ann Klein and Fred Gross Holocaust Education Act. The House passed the bill earlier this month.

If signed into law by Governor Bevin, Kentucky would join eight other states, requiring Holocaust education for middle and high school students.
