Pumpkin spice lattes are back and that means the Holiday's are right around the corner! Wednesday morning SKyPAC workers kicked off their third annual Gingerbread Homes for the Arts Festival. The festival takes place November 13th through the 18th where amateurs, professionals, the young and the old are all challenged to make a gingerbread home masterpiece to be displayed at the festival. The week-long series of events and festivities at the festival creates a major fundraiser to help SKyPAC bring arts programs and arts education to South Central Kentucky.
"Well I think the arts is very important for the community and we want to try to house all the art activities that we possibly can down here to allow the community and those who are young in the community to learn more about the arts and cultural activities that go on to help round their education," said Rick McCue the Executive Director of SKyPAC.
