Hart County, KY -

A Hardyville man is behind bars after leading police on a chase spanning over four days and as many counties.

29-year-old Joshua Sanders was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stole several thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry, cash and electronics from two homes in Hart County. Police say Sanders also stole a 2010 Dodge Challenger and used it to escape.

Sanders then evaded police in Barren County on Monday, and again on Wednesday in Hart County.

Kentucky State Police then found the stolen car abandoned in Green County, and apprehended Sanders in a nearby building.

Sanders is currently lodged in the Hart County Jail on several charges. His bond is set at $10,500.
