Kentucky Ice Cream Company Issues Recall

Posted: Updated:

Kentucky-based ice cream chain “Comfy Cow” is recalling some of its most popular flavors due to possible E. Coli contamination.

The recall involves pints of Comfy Cow Ice Cream in nine different flavors sold between June 13 and July 21.

Three-gallon bulk containers of Georgia Butter Pecan are also being recalled.

Comfy Cow says the recalled ice cream was sold in retail stores in Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana and Tennessee.

Consumers are being advised to throw away the ice cream or return it for a refund.
