Bowling Green Police have made two arrests in a counterfeit money case.
Officers arrested 31-year-old Scott Carroll and 36-year-old Chelsey Davis on criminal possession of a forged instrument and forgery over the weekend after receiving several counterfeit reports, each describing the suspects as a male and female in a silver Acura with an Alabama registration plate.
They located the vehicle at Interstate Drive where signs of the crime were in plain view. Consent was then granted to search the hotel room the two were staying in and additional evidence was found.
Carroll and Davis confessed. Both are lodged in the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bonds.
